Sudanese Armed Forces attacked SPLM-N-controlled areas around Dilling

In the early hours on Monday, January 13, 2025, the Sudanese Armed Forces launched an attack on areas under the control of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-Norh (SPLM-N) around the city of Dilling. The attack targeted the areas of Hajar Jawad and Karkaraiya, marking a new violation of the Understandings on delivering humanitarian aid to those affected in the Nuba Mountains/South Kordofan.

the Understandings are still valid and expected to resume soon.

Previously, the Sudanese Armed Forces attacked Jebel Nawai twice on September 9 and September 22, 2024, and attacked Yabus in New Fanj on December 19, 2024, also attacked “Abu Siba” on December 24, 2024. This was the second attack on Karkaraiya, which was previously targeted in September 2024, including the bombing of the oil pumping station in Karkaraiya, which is protected by the SPLA-N forces and the New Sudan Police.

These actions by the Sudanese Armed Forces confirm their intention to drag the region into an all-out war. The SPLA-N is fully prepared to defend its controlled areas, protect civilians, and respond decisively to any aggression.

The struggle continues, and victory is certain.
